The home of the twins. Touko and Toya no longer live here, however their mother still happily lives in the house, enjoying the visits from her children when they come.

Bianca's house

Bianca's house is located in the southwest of Nuvema Town. Bianca's house is home to her mother and father. Upstairs is Bianca's room which contains a bookshelf lined with Pokémon picture books, a shelf and two cabinets filled with goods, two plants and a desk. Her bed has pink covers and is on a turquoise rug. A window is on the back wall, with a desk in the bottom-right corner. Bianca is now Professor Juniper's assistant and spends very little time at home.

Cheren's house

Cheren's house is located in the southeast of Nuvema Town. Cheren's house is home to his mother and father. Cheren's room has five shelves of books, a widescreen TV, a PC with information on how to play the game, a maroon rug in front of the television, and a bed with brown covers in the bottom-right. A sliding window is located above the staircase.

Professor Juniper's lab

Another Lab in a quiet area. Professor Juniper is the head of Pokémon Research in Unova. Professor Juniper's special area of study is the Origins of Pokémon, and she works here happily with her assistant Bianca, although the two do a lot of travelling around the Region.

Striaton Academy

An elite school in Unova that students must pass an entrance exam to enter. It is tied with schools across the other Regions. Students that graduate from these schools will often be accepted into impressive Universities.

Striaton Garden

On the west side of Striaton City, there is a hedge garden surrounded by water. It contains hedge walls, and Pikachu and Pidove-shaped hedges. In the center of the garden is a tall water fountain.

Striaton Gym

The Striaton Gym is the official Gym of Striaton City. It is based on Fire-type, Water-type, and Grass-type Pokémon. The Gym Leaders are Chili, Cress, and Cilan. The Striaton City Gym is a Gym consisting of a puzzle by stepping on an element pad that defeats the element showcased on a curtain. For defeating one Gym Leader, Trainers receive the Trio Badge.

Nacrene Museum

A museum showing various historical treasures, most prominently a skeleton of a Dragon-type Pokémon (resembling Dragonite), is located in Nacrene City. Just to the left of the skeleton is an Armaldo Fossil. On the right side of the museum is an ancient tablet with an unknown script carved into it. Beneath this is a mask that was worn by ancient people at festivals, and three large bones that were once carried as weapons by a certain Pokémon (possibly Cubone or Marowak).

Nacrene Gym

The Nacrene Gym is the official Gym of Nacrene City. It is based on Normal-type Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Lenora. The Nacrene City Gym is a Gym consisting of a library that require Trainers to find the right answers to opponents' questions through the readable books, before engaging them in battle. For defeating Lenora, Trainers receive the Basic Badge. The Gym can be found at the back of the Museum.

Castelia City

Veilstone City
Castelia City is a large seaside city located in south central Unova. Unlike other cities, Castelia is a huge, sprawling metropolis, sporting many towering skyscrapers and other tall buildings. It is the heart of business and economy of the Unova region, as opposed to its sister city, Nimbasa City, which is the heart of leisure and entertainment. Most of its city streets are crowded with different people rushing around, trying to get to work, home, or other places, creating a hustle and bustle scene for city life. The city exists on the bottom of Unova's central peninsula, south of the desert and north of the sea, making for a perfect harbor city. It is the Capital of the Unova Region.

Studio Castelia

Studio Castelia is a small art gallery in central Castelia which displays and showcases many painting from artists who live in Castelia; however, it does not display any of Burgh's paintings, as he prefers to hang them in the Castelia Gym. Many artists from around Unova come to Castelia to get inspiration from Burgh, and their paintings are hanging here.

Café Sonata is a small café on the right side of Narrow Street. Many people come to the café to relax after a tiring day of work, and to listen to the Musician's guitar rhythm, who believes that a beautiful melody makes people happy and a sad melody makes people sorrowful.

The Castelia Gym is the official Gym of Castelia City, located on the western-most street above the Liberty Pier. The Gym also doubles as a working art gallery. It is based on Bug-type Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Burgh.

The Central Plaza, also known as the Castelia Central Area, is a park located at the intersection of all the streets in Castelia City. There is a large flowing fountain that is said to bring people and Pokémon together. There are Vending Machines located here that sell drinks.

The Desert Resort
The Desert Resort is a large, barren desert. A sandstorm is always occurring. Like Route 4, the Desert Resort has deep sand rather than tall grass. There are many hills and valleys along its barren ground. In the center of the resort is one of the entrances to the Relic Castle. This entrance is guarded by statues.

Relic Castle

The Relic Castle is the ruins of a city built by one of the twin heroes and his corresponding dragon and are said to have been the heart of a civilization for people and Pokémon in the Unova region. The civilization dates back to at least 2,500 years ago, at which point it was at its peak.

Nimbasa City

Nimbasa City
Nimbasa City is the most populous city in the Unova region and the second most populous in the Pokémon World, behind Kalos's Lumiose City. In contrast to Castelia City, which is the heart of business and economy in the region, Nimbasa serves as the heart of leisure and entertainment. Nimbasa City is well known for its grand-scale landmarks such as the Musical Theater, Gear Station, Big Stadium and Small Court, Battle Institute, and the Rondez-View Ferris Wheel and amusement park.

Gear Station is the central hub of the Battle Subway. All eight lines of the Battle Subway are accessed through Gear Station, including the only available route to Anville Town. The train line is run by Emmet and Ingo.

Nimbasa Stadium and Courts

Nimbasa City's sports venues, Big Stadium and Small Court, are where sportspeople and sports fans go to practice and engage in both Pokémon battles and the sport of their choosing. They are also the places where sporting events are hosted in the Unova region. Big Stadium hosts sports requiring fields, specifically baseball, soccer, and football; meanwhile, Small Court hosts sports requiring courts, specifically tennis and basketball.

The Rondez-View Ferris Wheel is a couples-only Ferris wheel. People often use the wheel for blind dates as they require a partner to go up with, sometimes this can result in long lasting relationships, other times, a restraining order.

Driftveil City

Driftveil City
Driftveil City is a major ocean port city in western Unova. It has strong wind currents popular with sailboaters. More importantly, its ports are used by freighters and fishing boats that import and export goods such as vegetables in and out of Unova. A large market offering some useful items occupies part of the city. Driftveil is typically subject to precipitation year-round.

Celestial Tower

The Celestial Tower is a tall tower with three inner floors connected by spiral staircases. Like certain buildings in other regions, it is a resting place for deceased Pokémon. At the top of the tower is a bell, which mourners can ring in remembrance of their lost Pokémon. The bell's sound is said to reflect the nature of the one who rang it.

Veilstone City
Mistralton City is located in western Unova. It lies directly north of Chargestone Cave, and is geographically positioned between three mountain ranges. The city is famous for its airport which imports and exports cargo around the Unova region and beyond. The city is home to Skyla, a pilot who is also the Mistralton City Gym Leader.

Mistralton Cargo Service

The Mistralton Cargo Service handles and maintains packages that are sent or received by the cargo planes. Their slogan is "Quick and Safe!" which is reinforced by their staff who offer quick and efficient cargo delivery. The Cargo Service building is also a control tower which allows planes to fly safely in the sky where there are no roads. The Cargo Service building seems to be more than just a cargo delivery system, as many members of the community gather on the ground floor to convene and share items.

Mistralton City Gym

The Mistralton Gym is the official Gym of Mistralton City. The Gym is a converted cargo plane hangar which is located north of the runway. It is based on Flying-type Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Skyla. Mistralton Gym is designed like a military hangar. The inside is full of cannons which the player must use to make their way to Skyla. Most of these cannons help the player to progress to Skyla; however, some will blast the player back to a Trainer. Trainers who defeat her receive the Jet Badge.

The majority of Icirrus City's buildings are located on high ground, due to the surrounding area being in a wet climate and as such having large puddles containing wild Pokémon. Windmills can also be seen towards the south end of the city.

Pokémon Fan Club

The Unova region's Pokémon Fan Club is located in Icirrus. The Pokémon Fan Club is an organization spread throughout the Pokémon world, with at least one Club House in nearly every region. The Fan Club is basically a place for people to meet and chat about their favorite Pokémon and to show off their collections to each other. In general, the members are usually more oriented to unevolved, cute Pokémon.

Lacunosa Town

Lacunosa Town
A long time ago, it is said that a large meteor came from the sky containing a terrifying monster. It was said that at night the monster would appear in the town along with the cold winds and take away humans and Pokémon to eat them. Eventually, the residents of the town surrounded Lacunosa Town in a wall to keep the monster out and a rule was then set on the town that forbade anyone from leaving at night and encouraged people to stay in their homes. Even though Lacunosa residents claim to no longer believe this old story, they still stay inside of their houses at night and the walls remain standing to this day.

Outside of summer, this town has very few people and almost looks deserted; the villas are all empty. However, during summer, the villas in the town are all occupied by vacationists. People come here from all over the world for their holidays.

Floccesy Town is situated in the southwestern part of the Unova region. It is home to former Champion Alder. The town used to be a grassy meadow, and was populated by people in search of Pokémon. The two eventually made homes, and started living together.
