| Twinleaf Town Twinleaf Town is situated in the southwestern part of the Sinnoh region. It is the home of Hikari and Jun, who lived her before beginning their Journey. The town lies a little to the south of Verity Lakefront.

| | Home of Hikari before she left on her Journey, her mother still lives here. Hikari's mother was once a famous coordinator in her youth, but her daughter does not appear to be following in her footsteps, choosing the life of a trainer instead.

| Lake Verity One of the lakes that is symbolic of the water-rich Sinnoh region. There is an odd legend associated with it. It is possible to enter the cave underneath the lake from the island in the middle.

| Sandgem Town A sandy town that is located right next to a beach. It is redolent with the salty scent of the sea. Proffessor Rowan's lab is the town's landmark, and the Pokémon Laboratory for the Region, it is a slightly more accessible Lab than those from many of the other Regions, being just south of Jubilife City.

| | Professor Rowan is head of Research in Sinnoh and specializes in Pokémon Evolution. The lab is one of the bigger ones, with many students hired as assistants, the most notable of which is Lucus who is Professor Rowan's personal assistant.

| Jubilife City The most modernized city in the Sinnoh region. It is bustling with people on the go. The Pokétch Company, the developer and manufacturer of the Pokétch, is located here. Jubilife TV, Sinnoh's TV network, is located here. It is an entertaining place to visit. The Global Terminal is located here. It is your connection to the entire world. Located here is the Trainers' School. Drop in to study up on the basics of Pokémon.

| | The Jubilife TV station is a noticeable big, white and cube-shaped building located in the northern section of the city. This is the company building where Sinnoh TV is organizes and produced, many famous actors may be seen walking in and out of this building.

| | An elite school in Sinnoh that students must pass an entrance exam to enter. It is tied with schools across the other Regions. Students that graduate from these schools will often be accepted into impressive Universities. Lucus attends this school.

| | The Pokétch Company's headquarters is located in the northwestern section of the city. The Pokétch Company is a family-owned company, and the manufacturer of the Pokétch. It is relatively small, unlike Silph Co. or the Devon Corporation, and actually started as a hobby of the owner, who made what he liked before the business grew to its present state. The building has three floors, in which the family of the president of the company reside in. Occasionally they will hold Promotional events where Pokétchs will be given away for free to competition winners.

| | Expensive apartments in Jubilife City where wealthy residents live. Many people who live here are celebrities that work for the television network or rich and experienced trainers.

| Oreburgh City A vibrant and energetic mining town that is blessed with a precious natural resource. There is a Gym where mine workers take breaks in between their exhausting work shifts. There is a museum that specializes in exhibits related to the town's coal mine. Huge deposits of coal still sleep underneath the ground. The entrance to the Oreburgh Mine is here.

| | The Oreburgh Mining Museum is a museum located north-east of Oreburgh City. The Oreburgh Mining Museum is a large, one floor museum that contains many visual displays as well as facts about coal and the Oreburgh Mine. Unlike other museums, the Oreburgh Mining Museum is free to enter.

| | The Oreburgh Mine is located at the far south of Oreburgh City. It is run by Roark, who is also the Gym Leader of the city. It is the livelihood of the town. Vents in the town allow steam to escape and fresh air to enter the mine, likely also clearing the mine of any poison gas (which is historically the bane of coal miners). The mine is operated with the utmost care to avoid causing damage to the natural habitats of wild Pokémon. The system of taking coal out of the mine is automated. Roark lets Trainers from the town train their Pokémon in the mine. The mine itself extends not only under the town, but the seafloor as well. All of the miners have their own Pokémon, usually Machop, to assist them in the mine.

| | The Oreburgh Gym is the official Gym of Oreburgh City. It is based on Rock-type Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Roark. Trainers who defeat him receive the Coal Badge. The Oreburgh Gym is a narrow building built of stone. Two paths exist, a raised path that avoids the Trainers and a middle path that takes challengers straight through the Gym. Roark waits on a raised hill at the end of the paths. Although only two Trainers actually appear in the Gym, most of the miners in the Oreburgh Mine are also members who relax at the Gym in their free time.

| Mt. Coronet Mt. Coronet is the highest mountain in the Sinnoh region, part of a long mountain range that divides the region in half. Most of it is a deep cave, though there are several above-ground areas in which it snows constantly. According to legend, Mt. Coronet is where the Sinnoh region began. Arceus created Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina at the Spear Pillar, as well as the Adamant, Lustrous, and Griseous Orbs, then fell into an unending sleep on the highest point of the mountain.

| Floaroma Town A town of flower lovers, Floaroma Town is always perfumed with the sweet scent of flowers. A short, floral pathway opens up to a sprawling sea of flowers in bloom. In the center of town is the flower shop called Pick a Peck of Colours.

| | The Floaroma Meadow is an area accessed through the flowers in the northeast section of Floaroma Town proper, but still part of the town according to the Town Map. The meadow is owned by an old man and his wife who will sell honey they produce on the meadow.

| Eterna Forest The Eterna Forest has a reputation for being a mysterious place, from the abandoned Old Chateau to the strange Moss Rock. The Eterna Forest is a long and complex structure of trees that make it a natural maze, of where a lot of people get lost.

| | Deep in the forest is the Old Chateau. It is falling into disrepair after being abandoned by its owner. Some people have reported sightings of ghosts in the Chateau.

| Eterna City An old city that shows fading and almost-forgotten vestiges of ancient history. A Gym is indispensable in any town that has many people coming and going. This city is no exception. The Cycle Shop is located here. There is also a big building with a slightly sinister atmosphere. A statue of an ancient Pokémon is prominently and reverently displayed.

| | The main living blocks in Eterna City. The Apartments are nice and not particularly expensive, many ordinary families live here, as well as retired trainers and trainers who work in the Gym.

| | This Pokémon statue is up a little hill to the east of Eterna City, it is surrounded by a grassy square where mothers will bring their children to play during the day. The statue displays an artist's impression of a Legendary Pokémon.

| Hearthome City This friendly city started as a place where people and Pokémon gathered, then grew into a center of commerce. If you care about the looks of your Pokémon, head for the Contest Hall. For toughness, go to the Gym. The entrance to Amity Square is here. The square is a place where Trainers can stroll peacefully with some types of Pokémon. There is a building here that is symbolic of the city's status as a place where different cultures meet. A nice fountain with benches, as well as the Pokémon Fan Club, are among the city's amenities. Hearthome is Sinnoh's Capital.

| | The biggest attraction, garnering contestants from all throughout the region, is the Super Contest Hall. The Super Contest Hall is an expanded format of the Pokémon Contests within Hoenn. In it, Pokémon are rated on their appearance and performance, rather than strength.

| | A notable attraction is Amity Square, where Trainers relax with their Pokémon. This is a place where Pokémon are allowed outside of their Pokéballs and are free to relax and wonder around - however, dangerous Pokémon will not be allowed to take part.

| | The Sinnoh's Pokémon Fan Club is located in the eastern area of Hearthome City. The Fan Club is basically a place for people to meet and chat about their favorite Pokémon and to show off their collections to each other. In general, the members are usually more oriented to unevolved, cute Pokémon and Pokémon Contests than Pokémon battles. The Sinnoh Pokémon Fan Club Chairman says that his Fan Club is number one nationwide because he brags more than anyone. However, he doesn't do it anymore because of people's complaints. This may also explain why only two other members are found in his club.

| | The Cathedral is a building located in the western side of Hearthome City. It has six benches and stained glass windows. All the people there talk about the grace of life in the Pokémon world, supernatural powers, and the balance of spirit and nature. It seems to be loosely based on a church or cathedral, and is the first building in all the Pokémon games to be so.

| Solaceon Town The temperate climate makes this town a relaxed and casual place for people and Pokémon to live in. There is a Pokémon Day Care and a Pokémon Center here. Beyond a path hemmed by stands of trees, one can find the entrance to the Solaceon Ruins.

| | Sinnoh's Pokémon Day Care is located here. This is where Trainers can drop off and pick up Pokémon from the old couple that lives there. The Pokémon Day Care can keep up to two Pokémon at a time. Pokémon kept there will occasionally breed and have a Pokémon Egg, if certain conditions are right.

| Veilstone City This city was made by carving out steep, rocky mountains. Its isolation limits its contact with other cities. The city puts effort into providing entertainment. Naturally, one can find a Gym here. Conveniently located right next door to the Game Corner is the Prize Exchange. At the highest point in the city is Team Galactic's headquarters. There are warehouses for storing a variety of goods. There is also a major department store.

| | The Veilstone Department Store is located in the middle of Veilstone City, west of the Pokémon Center. It is the main shopping district in the city. Veilstone lacks a regular Poké Mart, but its department store sells all the usual items and more. This department store is similar to the Celadon Department Store, the Goldenrod Department Store, and the Lilycove Department Store. The store offers a wide variety of items on its five floors.

| Hotel Grand Lake is one of Sinnoh's most popular resorts. Taking up a large stretch of Route 213 and part of Valor Lakefront, the hotel's rooms are actually small bungalows spread out on terraces along the grounds. The hotel is also the home of the Seven Stars Restaurant.

| Pastoria City his city was originally founded to protect the Great Marsh. It has grown naturally over the years. The Gym is a good example of the abundant water resources available to the city. There is a lookout that affords views of the Great Marsh. The gates to the Safari Zone are also here.

| | The Great Marsh is an area located right to the north of Pastoria City. It is the main attraction of Pastoria City that gets many visitors and Trainers coming from around the area. The Great Marsh contains some Pokémon that cannot be found elsewhere in Sinnoh. It is filled with marshy areas, which are inhabited by wild Pokémon. Much like other Pokémon preserves in Kanto and Hoenn, the Great Marsh features a Safari Game in which Trainers pay to take part.

| | The Pastoria Gym is the official Gym of Pastoria City. It is based on Water-type Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Crasher Wake. The Pastoria Gym is a large indoor swimming pool comprised of three levels and numerous floating platforms. Switches on the floor of the pool raise and lower the water level.
