| The Under It was originally an artificial town constructed for the convenience of the miners of Pyrite. Instead of having to commute between Pyrite and the mine each day, the workers assigned to dig in the mine would stay in The Under instead. When the mine closed, the miners chose to remain in their adopted home. Now, most of The Under is populated by the descendants of the original mining crew. The original inhabitants that still live in The Under are quite old, but are fond of telling stories of when the mine was in its prime. Since The Under is a full-fledged city in itself, many of its inhabitants have rarely, and in some cases never have, been to the surface. It is for this reason that the residents tend to be suspicious of those visiting from Pyrite. A fenced-off area in the southeastern portion of The Under serves as the town's make-shift prison; it is in this structure that visitors from the surface are occasionally detained.

| Parfum Palace The Parfum Palace was once the home of the king of Kalos, and has the fitting style for a regal man. Many statues honoring the knights and Pokémon who fought in the 300-year-old war are on display inside, including those of a Bisharp general, which once lead a legion of Pawniard into battle. The entrance hall also contains a statue of Milotic, said to be the most beautiful Pokémon in the world.
Besides statues, the palace is filled with numerous rooms, paintings, and antique artifacts. In the king's bedroom, the player can fully heal their Pokémon by briefly sleeping in the bed. Many tourists and guides can be found all around the castle, telling either their own opinions of the place or bits of its history. On the second floor, there is a hallway decorated with wall-sized mirrors. The hallway leads to the balcony, which offers an overview of the palace's gardens. The palace garden, preceeded by a bridge over a pond, contains statues of Reshiram and Zekrom, two Legendary Pokémon from the Unova region. In addition, the garden is decorated with four hedge mazes, Poké Ball statues, and a fountain. The king of Kalos is said to have priced his garden back in the day, even holding garden parties out there. Three of the four hedge mazes are shaped to look like a Solrock, a Chandelure, and a male Pyroar.
